# Google Meet Integration for Glue

With the Google Meet integration for Glue, you can quickly and easily start a Google Meet Space from anywhere inside of Glue (Thread, Group or DM).

When you start a Google Meeting inside Glue, a message will be generated containing a link to the meeting that others can use to join.

## Step 1: Add the Google Meet app to your workspace
See [instructions for installing an app in your workspace.](https://docs.glue.ai/integrations/integrations-overview#steps-to-set-up-one-of-the-pre-built-integrations-in-your-glue-workspace)

## Step 2: Start a Google Meet space from Glue
- In any thread or chat, click the thread action button on the compose box or type the back slash "/ " to get a list of possible thread actions.

- Choose **Create a Google Meet space**

- After choosing this action for the first time, you will be prompted to authorize Google Meet.

- Click **Authorize**. A new window will appear with the Google Meet login screen. Log in to your account and then click **Allow** to give consent.

- Return to Glue and repeat the action to **Create a Google Meet space**. A link to the space will be sent to the thread and all participants can click the link to join.
